This Week in Star Citizen (18449)

Happy Monday, everyone!

The Intergalactic Aerospace Expo is well underway! It’s already been quite the show with the debut of the Anvil Spartan and the Aegis Redeemer, and there’s plenty more where that came from. Today we’ve got the alien manufacturers on the show floor, plus later this week be sure to catch an upcoming announcement from Argo Astronautics.

In case you missed it, Whitley’s Guide is back at the IAE showcasing some of the vehicles on display. Be sure to catch parts one and two of Jax and Jimmy’s adventures on microTech, up now on our YouTube channel. Part 3 debuts tomorrow, November 23rd.

Now, let’s see what’s going on this week: This Tuesday, the Narrative team returns with more content for the ever-expanding Galactapedia. If you haven’t jumped into the lore of the Star Citizen universe quite yet, you can do so here.

Thursday brings the second IAE-themed episode of Inside Star Citizen that takes a look at two more vehicles making their debut at the IAE this year.

On Friday, you’ll see an update to the Subscriber Vault and the RSI Newsletter will wait for you in your inbox. There will not be an episode of Star Citizen Live this week due to the holiday in the US.

Have a fantastic week, and we’ll see you on the show floor!

The galaxy's premier annual aerospace event, the Intergalactic Aerospace Expo (IAE), starts on November 19 at microTech's Tobin Expo Center! To commemorate the event, we want to spotlight the milestones of spaceflight. Pilots have always dared to risk the cold, harsh expanse of space, soaring above worlds with no safety net to catch them. Spaceflight is about being bold and doing what needs to be done.

Find out more about the IAE 2951 here! This week, let’s take a look at a key player in the UEE’s history, Roberts Space Industries.

Roberts Space Industries (RSI), founded in the early 21st century, is one of the oldest and most influential space technology companies in the United Empire of Earth (UEE). Spacecraft, spacecraft components, and terraforming technology make up the bulk of their products. In 2075, RSI created the quantum core engine, and in 2113, the company released the earliest terraforming machinery utilized by Humans. RSI entered a period of decline during the Messer Era (2546-2792), when their military contracts were terminated in favor of Aegis Dynamics, and further shrank 2757, when Ulysses Messer X publicly blamed the company for the death of Anthony Tanaka. It wasn’t until the end of the Messer Era that RSI’s military contracts were reinstated. Today, their Bengal line of carrier ships and Pegasus line of escort carriers are utilized by the United Empire of Earth Navy (UEEN).

Do you know which ship made by RSI first introduced the quantum drive?
