CitizenCon Tickets – Wave 1 FAQ<br />

CitizenCon 2949 approaches and we could not be more excited to celebrate Star Citizen and its community together in Manchester, England this November.<br />

This week, we’ll kick off wave 1 of CitizenCon tickets alongside an update to the CitizenCon website, providing some additional information about this year’s event.<br />

I couldn’t get a ticket in Wave 1. Will more tickets be made available?<br />
<br />
Yes, we will release additional tickets at a later date.<br />

I can’t make it to Manchester, will the event be livestreamed?<br />
Yes. It’s 100% free to watch the livestream – we will be broadcasting live at www.twitch.tv/starcitizen. Rebroadcasting is permitted.<br />

Can I purchase multiple tickets?<br />
No, each person may only acquire one CitizenCon ticket.<br />
<br />

What should I bring?<br />
Please remember to bring your printed ticket (or a digital copy stored on your mobile device) and your photo ID. If you have a Citizen Card or any Star Citizen and Squadron 42 clothing or accessories, we encourage you to wear/bring them.<br />

Can I come in Cosplay?<br />
Heck yea! Cosplay is encouraged. Local laws and venue restrictions do prohibit prop weapons though, so please leave those at home.<br />
<br />
We also may have some cool things in store for those of you who choose to attend in cosplay, including a contest with prizes!<br />

Is there an age restriction for attending?<br />
Yes, all attendees must be 18 or older.<br />

Will there be a VIP ticket?<br />
No, this year’s event only has one ticket type.<br />

Will you be offering a Digital Goodies Pack similar to last year?<br />
Yes. More information on this to come at a later date.<br />

Can non-backers acquire a ticket to the event?<br />
No, you must be a backer in order to acquire a CitizenCon ticket.<br />

Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?<br />
No, tickets are non-transferrable.<br />

Will CitizenCon tickets be available for store credit?<br />
No, CitizenCon tickets are not purchasable via store credit.<br />

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?<br />
Yes, the venue and all areas of CitizenCon 2949 are fully wheelchair accessible. You can read more about this here.<br />

Will food be available?<br />
<br />
We will have a selection of food and drink vendors throughout the venue. Please keep in mind that the venue does not permit outside food and beverages to be brought inside.<br />

Is there somewhere to leave my bag and coat?<br />
<br />
Yes, all attendees will be encouraged to store their belongings in the visitor’s coat check. That said, we strongly discourage attendees from bringing large bags.<br />

Will seating be available?<br />
<br />
The Main Stage CitizenCon panels will have enough seats for every attendee. Second Stage events have limited seating on a first-come first-served basis, but all panels will be reposted to the official Star Citizen YouTube channel after the event. There will be no assigned seating.<br />

Can I bring my own seating?<br />
<br />
You can bring a seat/stool for the queue outside, but these would need to be checked in to our coat check upon entry.<br />

Will there be security at the event?<br />
<br />
Yes.<br />

What are the rules concerning in house photography/recording?<br />
<br />
In general, photography and recording are encouraged. However, there may be some areas and aspects of the event that are off-limits in that regard throughout the day. Clear indication of areas where photography is not permitted will be found on-site.<br />

If I can no longer attend, can I cancel and get a refund?<br />
<br />
Tickets may be canceled up to 30 days before the event and refunded for store credit. No refunds will be granted within 30 days of the event.</div>FoXFTW
